Vietnam plans to mobilize 73 billion U.S. dollars to develop its transport system from 2007 to 2020, local newspaper Vietnam Economic Times reported Monday.
Under a scheme recently submitted by the Ministry of Planning and Investment to the government for approval, the country will mobilize 15 billion dollars in the 2007-2010 period, including 2 billion dollars from the private economic sector and domestic enterprises.
Other sources include official development assistance, the issuance of government bonds, and state budget.
