Indonesia condemns Lebanon bombing
font size

Indonesia Wednesday condemned Tuesday's bombing in the Lebanese city of Ein Alaq, saying the act of terror would only hinder efforts taken by the Lebanese people to reach national reconciliation.

The Indonesian government "expects the people of Lebanon to set aside their differences so as to achieve national reconciliation in the country," the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement.

The Indonesian government supports the steps taken by the Lebanese authority to investigate the bombings and to arrest those responsible for the attack, which killed three people and injured 23 others.
