Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Friday called on the international community to show more determination against Iran.
The world can not afford a nuclear Iran which could have "the aspiration to take over the whole region," said Livni in an opening speech at a security conference in southern city of Munich.
"Israel always believes in diplomatic efforts but military means could be a complement to diplomacy," said the minister.
International community should "show more determination" against the extremists so that they can accept "the values of the free world," she said
There is no justification for terror, she added.
Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani will still come to the Munich security conference as originally planed, according to Iranian Embassy in Berlin on Friday night.
Earlier reports said Larijani had decided on a last minute that he is not coming due to an illness.
Larijani had said that he expected some negotiations with Western on the sidelines of the Munich meeting, which would also been attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and EU chief diplomat Javier Solana.
