Iraqi TV releases final moment video of Saddam

Iraqi official television al- Iraqiya released the video of Saddam Hussein's final moments before execution.

The state-run television showed Saddam being led the gallows with a calm face and was chatting with his two hooded hangmen who placed the noose around his nick.

Saddam, 69, was wearing a white shirt without a tie and a dark overcoat.

The Iraqia TV aired cheerful songs and interviewed groups of people celebrating the hang of their former leader in some Baghdad streets.

At dawn Saturday, the Iraqi government executed the former Iraqi leader, a move drew mixed reactions from Iraqis.
