A military wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement claimed on Saturday that it had fired home-made rockets into southern Israel despite a ceasefire.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of Fatah movement said in a statement that the two rockets they had fired into Israel were aimed at Kfar Azza settlement just outside the eastern frontier of Gaza Strip.
The attack came in response to the daily breaches of the ceasefire by the Israeli army in West Bank and Gaza Strip, the statement said.
They also condemned the detention campaign launched by the Israeli army against West Bank activists.
The attack is the fourth Palestinian breach of the mutual ceasefire in Gaza and Israel which was taken into effect on Nov. 26.
On their side, the Israeli army so far has wounded five Palestinians in northern Gaza Strip in three incidents over the last week. The Palestinian side had demanded that the ceasefire should be applied to West Bank, which has been refused by Israel.
