Hong Kong Secretary for Home Affairs Patrick Ho Wednesday congratulated Hong Kong athletes Marco Fu and Chan Wai-ki on winning a silver medal in men's snooker doubles at the Doha Asian Games.

"Hong Kong's athletes have once again achieved remarkable results in international competitions. I feel very proud of them," Ho said.

He wished the Hong Kong delegation all the best and hoped for more good news from other events.

China's snooker player Ding Junhui and Tian Pengfei won a Asian Games gold in the men's snooker doubles on Wednesday in Doha, Qatar.

Marco Fu and another Hong Kong player Au Chi-wai clinched a silver medal four years ago when Hong Kong also won a team gold and a singles bronze in Asian Games held in Pusan, South Korea.
