Bush says he shares reasonability for loss in midterm elections

U.S. President George W. Bush said Wednesday that he shares "a large part of responsibility" for the Republicans' loss in controlling the House of Representatives in midterm legislative elections.

Bush also said that he was "obviously disappointed" with the midterm elections results, which gave the Democrats control of the House of Representatives in Tuesday's legislative elections.

Bush acknowledged that the Democrats' victory is a sign that Americans are frustrated by a lack of progress in Iraq and said he looks forward to working with the Democrats in the Congress.
