Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met Tuesday with Miroslaw Sekula, president of the Supreme Chamber of Control of Poland.

Wu, also secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, said China and Poland enjoy a traditional friendship.

In recent years, cooperation between the two countries in all fields has gained notable results, he said.

China is willing to work with Poland to enlarge the practical cooperation and push friendly cooperative partnership forward, Wu said.

Wu briefed Sekula on China's political and economic situations and its efforts on anti-corruption.

China attaches great importance on international cooperation in the field of anti-corruption, he said.

"It is ready to enhance exchanges and cooperation with all countries, regions and related international organizations on the basis of equality and mutual respect."

Sekula said Poland is willing to further cooperation in fields such as anti-corruption and environment protection supervision with China.

He said the two sides should enhance exchanges and learn from each other to contribute to the development of each country.

Sekula is here at the invitation of the Ministry of Supervision.

He attended the China-Poland workshop on environment protection supervision on Tuesday morning.
