French Ambassador to Poland Pierre Menat announced on Monday a two-day meeting on Polish-French- German regional cooperation starting in Cracow, southern Poland, on Thursday, will provide an occasion to get better acquainted with partners.
German Ambassador Reinhard Schweppe said that contacts on a regional level are a very significant element of cooperation of their countries, the PAP news agency reported.
The two diplomats attended Monday a press conference on a Cracow meeting headlined "Europe in the heart of the Weimar Triangle." The meeting, to be attended by around 200 people from Poland, France and Germany, will focus on cooperation promotion, regional development, struggle against unemployment and use of EU funds.
The Cracow meeting will prove that the Weimar Triangle is " active" and runs a number of projects. Such a conference will be held for the first time, Ambassador Menat said.
