Wu Guanzheng, a senior official of the Communist Party of China concluded his visit to Botswana on Wednesday in Gaborone.

Wu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the party's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, arrived here on Monday afternoon for an official and goodwill visit.

In the talks with Botswana's President Festus Mogae on Tuesday, Wu said that China was willing to work together with Botswana to push bilateral exchanges and cooperation to a higher level in a variety of areas.

They also attended the signing ceremony of relevant economic cooperation agreements between the two governments.

During the visit, Wu inspected a housing project funded by Chinese preferential loans and constructed by a Chinese company.

Chinese managers briefed Wu on the project and Wu asked the Chinese company to ensure the quality of the project as part of contribution to the bilateral relationship.
