Zidane's penalty give France early lead in World Cup final

Zinedine Zidane opened scoring for France in 7 minutes through a penalty at their World Cup final against Italy on Sunday.

Florent Malouda fell down in the box on the 6th minute and Argentine referee Horacio Elizondo handed Les Bleus a spot kick, which was converted by France's inspirition Zidane in the next minute.

France was given an early concern in the first minute as striker thierry Henry lied prone in the center circle after running into Fabio Cannavaro. The sole striker of France returned to the field four minutes later.
