Austria will learn from World Cup security, official
font size

In terms of organizing a hyper sport game without accidents, "they (Germans) do build an example for us", said Guenther Marek, chief of the Football-Information-Center of Austrian Interior Ministry, to Austrian Press Agency (APA) Tuesday.

Austria, which will co-host the 2008 European championship with Switzerland, has sent 25 security persons to Germany, to help as well as to learn.

Marek said Austria will cooperate with traditional soccer powers in its preparation for Euro 2008 and will try keep the "trouble fans" out of Austria.

Marek, however, noted that Austria could not 100 percent ensure the security of the 2008 championship.
