Italy reduced to 10 after Materazii expelled

Italy were reduced to 10 men after defender Marco Materazzi was expelled early in the second half of their World Cup second round clash with Australia on Monday.

Materazzi was shown a red card by Spanish referee Medina Cantalejo in the 51st minute for a vicious tackle on Australia's midfielder Marco Bresciano.
