According to Polish media, increased traffic ahead of the 2006 FIFA World Cup has caused no major problems on Polish-German border to-date.

The traffic is expected to get heavier ahead of Poland's match with Ecuador on Friday.

Over 20,000 Polish football fans who have tickets are expected to go to Germany. The number of those who will go without tickets is difficult to estimate.

On Tuesday Polish interior minister Ludwik Dorn said that up to 300,000fans are likely to go to Germany for World Cup.
