font size

With the increasing investment in the auto industry, development on technique and the expanding capacity, the exports of vehicles have entered into a booming period.

In the first four months, a total of 87,176 vehicles (including the complete sets of auto spare parts) have been exported, 1.4 times as much as the number of the same period of last year. The value of export was 1.8 times as much as that of the same period of last year to US $870 million.

Boosted by expectation for consumer tax adjustment, the imports more than doubled, reaching 72,132 units and US $2.39 billion.

The disparity in average prices of imports and exports further widened, especially for sedans. Average import price of sedans amounted to US $ 37,700 per unit, 5.3 times of export price of US $7,100. But it was only 3.9 times last year.
