Over 750 Pakistani deportees to arrive in Karachi very soon

A group of 758 Pakistanis, who were arrested for illegal entry in Oman, will arrive in Pakistan's southwest port city Karachi on June 9, Vice chairman of Welfare Trust International Sarim Burney said on Wednesday.

Representatives of the Trust will receive the deportees, who will return in a ship "Al Majad," Pakistan news agency NNI reported.

The Trust has made all arrangements for these deportees, who will be provided food, clothes and shoes at Ghas Bandhar, Burney said.

He said that after four days sea journey the health condition of most of prisoners was found miserable due to non availability food and water during the journey.

Burney also thanked Oman government and the foreign affairs of Pakistan with the cooperation of whom the Trust got released these unfortunates from jails of Muscat, capital of Oman.
