font size

A suicide bomber, who attempted to target a Turkish construction company in the southern Ghazni province Wednesday, fell victim to his plan before reaching the area, a senior police official said.

"Today at 12 noon, a man tied explosive material to his body attempted to enter the office of the Turkish company in Andar district but exploded in parking lot, leaving himself dead," Abdul Wakil Kamyab told Xinhua.

It is the third suicide attack over the past two days shocking the southern region. Two previous suicide bomb attacks rattled Khost and Ghazni provinces on Tuesday, leaving three dead and wounding 10 others, including three American soldiers.
