font size

Chanchu, the first tropical storm of the year on the South China Sea, has affected 10.1627 million people in Fujian, Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces in south and southeast China, leaving 30 people dead, five missing and 14,500 houses collapsed, and causing a direct economic loss of 8.557 billion yuan, according to estimations of the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters (SFDH).
