Two bomb blasts rocked central Baghdad on Sunday morning, causing several casualties, an Interior Ministry source said.
The first blast took place in Palestine Street where a roadside bomb went off near a police patrol, wounding at least two policemen, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The blast also hit a passing-by minibus, causing a number of
casualties among the minibus occupants.
A second roadside bomb blew up in Taiyaran Square, wounding five civilians and damaging several cars and shops, he said.
