font size

Group D runner-up Kyrgyzstan moved into the semi-final of the AFC Challenge Cup eliminating Palestine by a last minute goal in a quarterfinal match here Sunday.

Kyrgyzstan will play the semi-final against the winners of Monday's quarterfinal match between group D champion Tajikistan and group C runner-up Bangladesh.

After a barren first half in the match, substitute Ruslan Djamshidov scored the all-important goal for Kyrgyzstan in the dying moment from inside the danger zone.

Palestine got only one chance during the entire match early in the 16th minute, but a close range powerful shot by Fahed Attal was saved by opponent custodian Vladislav Volkov for corner.
