Ukraine's voters begin to cast ballots to choose new parliament

The eligible voters in Ukraine on Sunday began to go to polling stations across the country to cast their ballots for a new parliament.

Polling stations opened at 0400 GMT and will close 15 hours later. Some 37 million people are eligible to cast their ballots.

A total of 45 parties are competing for seats in Ukraine's 450-seat parliament.
