Jordan and some other Arab countries are expected to witness a partial solar eclipse next Wednesday, Jordan's Petra News Agency reported on Saturday.
Some parts of Egypt and Libya will witness total eclipse on March 29, said the report.
The start and end of the eclipse will vary from one region to another, and the longest period will be in southern Libya, according to Mohammad Shawkat, a member of the Jordanian Astronomy Society.
Shawkat said that it will be possible to observe this partial eclipse of the sun in all Europe and most parts of Asia, Africa and a small part of South America.
However, people in North America and Australia will not be able to see this eclipse, said Shawkat.
