A local company in Zimbabwe has developed software, which will assist farmers in their agricultural activities, local media the Newsnet reported on Friday.
Farmers can use the software to keep records of the crops, climatic season favorable for their crop, amount of production expected and amount of inputs to be used.
They can also learn the common pests and diseases that affect crops and animals, maturity dates of the crops and expected profit or loss.
The land redistribution program initiated by the Zimbabwean government in 2000 opened an opportunity for a lot of Zimbabweans' access to the prime agricultural land.
