Death toll rises to 25 in car bomb explosion in Baghdad

Death toll of a car bomb explosion in northern Baghdad on Tuesday rose to 25, Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.

Earlier, the source said at least 23 were killed and 45 wounded in the blast.

"The car bomb went off in a popular market near a Shiite mosque in the northern district of Al-Hurriya," he said.

Tuesday morning, three blasts rocked Baghdad in succession, killing at least 32 people and wounding over 100.
