Jordanian King Abdullah II has urged all Palestinian parties and blocs to cooperate closely in working out a solution for the peace and stability of the region.
The next phase was vital to Palestine's future following the Jan. 25 legislative elections, the monarch told visiting Moroccan President of Chamber of representatives, Abdeloughed Radi, on Thursday. He also pledged his country's continued support for the Palestinian people to overcome the difficulties they are now facing.
He further called on the international community to continue its efforts to push forward the Middle East peace process.
Radi praised the role Jordan has played in promoting the unity of Arab states, in bringing security and stability to Iraq, and in the just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue.
They also exchanged views on issues of common concern, including efforts to strengthen and promote bilateral cooperation in every possible area.
