CPC senior official appeals for cooperation between Chinese and Thai media

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has appealed for greater cooperation between Chinese and Thai media organizations.

Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the appeal at a meeting on Monday with a Thai media delegation headed by Rawat Chamchalerm, chairman of the Mass Communications Organization of Thailand.

Rawat said that he would make further contributions to the exchange of information and cooperation between the media of the two countries to promote mutual-understanding and cultural exchange between the two peoples.

The Thai delegation, headed by Rawat, are guests of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.
