Personal income up in NE. China province
font size

The per capita disposable income of urban residents in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province reached 8,273 yuan (over 1,000 U.S. dollars) last year, a rise of 10.7 percent year on year.

The income rise is attributed to the increases of wages, business incomes and incomes from properties, according to the provincial statistics bureau.

The per capita net income of rural residents in the province surged 7.2 percent year on year to 3,221 yuan (400 U.S. dollars) last year.

The bureau ascribed the increase in farmers' income to better sales of grain and increasing incomes from labor services and animal husbandry.
