Liping airport opens to traffic

At 4: 08 pm Nov. 6, a Boeing passenger airplane with China Southern Airlines' Guizhou Branch taking off from Guiyang landed safely at Liping airport in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou province. The successful landing marked that Liping airport, the fourth civil branch airport in Guizhou province has officially opened to traffic.

With a total investment of 240 million yuan, Liping airport was built in accordance with 4C standard, and airplanes such as Boeing 737 can take off and land here. After its open to traffic, travel time from Guiyang to Liping can be reduced to 30 minutes.
