Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao hailed Sino-Russian cooperation and vowed to further enhance economic, energy and cultural cooperation.
Wen made the remarks at a joint press conference held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing after the 10th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian prime ministers.
Since China and Russia inked last year the layout for implementing the Sino-Russian Good-Neighborly Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, the two sides have witnessed great progress.
"The high-level exchange between the two countries promoted political mutual-trust," Wen said.
"We launched the strategic security consultation mechanism, approved the supplementary agreement on the Sino-Russia eastern border, issued the China-Russia Joint Declaration on the World Order in the 21st Century, held a joint military exercise and witnessed fast growth of trade and economic ties."
The two sides agreed to sum up experience, strengthen coordination and strive to attain all the goals set in the layout, he said.
