font size

Chinese automaker Chery Automotive Co. (CAC), based in east China's Anhui Province, announced on October 31 its new-generation engine "ACTECO" (see pictures below).

Developed in cooperation with Austrian company AVL, ACTECO is China's first engine brand with independent intellectual property right.

The new engine features long lifespan and strong driving force, being oil-saving and environmental friendly. Many of its performance indexes are superior to Mitsubishi engines previously used.

ACTECO series engines will be gradually developed in coming two years, and be applied to Chery cars and put for sale.
