The 7th China Hi-Tech Fair was concluded on Oct.17 in Shenzhen which received some 550,000 visitors in the 6 days of the annual event.

Shenzhen mayor Xu Zongheng delivered a speech at the closing ceremony and declared that the 8th China Hi-Tech Fair would be held from Oct. 12 to 17 next year in 2006.

89 institutions, such as the Ministry of Commerce, Wuhan University and Hong Kong delegation, won the award for organization. 67 entities, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hitachi and Shanghai delegation, were appreciated for their excellent exhibitions. And 106 projects took the prize of outstanding products.
