Euronext to Debut at CHTF

Euronext, the fifth biggest bourse in the world, is going to participate in the "Overseas Listing" series activities at China Hi-Tech Fair 2005, and will host a theme event on IPO endorsement. Euronext's trip to China will be the bourse's first-time participation in the CHTF, and also its first large-scale promotion campaign in China this year. Euronext will host a promotion meeting under the theme of "Listed at Euronext, Your First Step into Euro Capital Market" during its trip. Ms. Martine Charbonnier, Chief of Euronext's IPO Division, and Mr. Erik Wenngren of Euronexts' International Department are expected to offer detailed and in-depth guidelines on how Chinese enterprises go for IPOs at the Euronext.

Euronext is the first multinational bourse in Europe, boasting the second highest total market value and the highest transaction volume in that continent. As the biggest bourse in European continent, Euronext builds on the extensive economic foundation - the Euro zone ?C with powerful financing capacity. It is among the top Global Top 10 in terms of transaction volume, and among the Global Top 5 in terms of market value.

Euronext, where 25 percent of listed enterprises are overseas ones, is looking forward to listing of companies from China. Apart from Eurolist, the bourse's main board, Euronext has also established its start-up board. Alternext to satisfy the IPO requests from companies of diversified scales. Euronext is a portal for Chinese enterprises to tap the resources in the Euro Zone as well as those in the Euro capital market. In the Euro era, listing at the Euronext is an excellent chance and ideal choice for Chinese enterprises intent to seek development in the EU and raise Euro-quoted capital.
