Ren Xueceng, 20-year-old Chinese girl from Hebei province, won the first gold medal for China at the world wrestling championships in Budapest.

Aydin Polatci won in the men's freestyle 120kg category.
"It was a very difficult day for me, because I met strong opponents. All along I felt the power in myself, I felt strong myself, and I could set apart so much power that I could turn the game and win. After this victory my aim is still the same: to win, not to lose in any competition where I enter," said Polatci.
About 700 wrestlers from nearly 100 countries and regions are competing in the world Greco-Roman, freestyle and women wrestling championships which run from September 26-October 2 in the Hungarian capital.
