A suicide car bomber struck an Iraqi army convoy in central Baghdad on Saturday, wounding three people, police said.
"A suicide bomber rammed his explosive packed vehicle into an Iraqi army convoy at 9:50 a.m. (0550 GMT) in Karada, near al-Fenjan restaurant," an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.
Three people were wounded, including a soldier, and an army vehicle was set ablaze by the blast, the source said.
Several civilian cars were also damaged, he added.
US and Iraqi security forces have sealed off the area, preventing people from approaching the scene.
