font size

China is ready to enhance friendly cooperation with South Africa, said Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo Thursday.

Dai made the remarks in meeting with South African Deputy Foreign Minister Aziz Pahad, who is visiting China.

China regards South Africa as a sincere friend and an important strategic cooperative partner, said Dai. China will step up coordination with South Africa in bilateral relations and international affairs, he added.

Pahad said China has played an important role in international affairs, and the development of Africa including South Africa is closely linked with China's support.

Pahad said South Africa will as always deepen strategic partnership with China in an all-round way.
