US President George W. Bush will travel to New York on Sept. 13-14 to participate in the 60th United Nations General Assembly, the White House said in a statement on Thursday.
Bush will address the High-Level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly on Sept. 14 and will also meet UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, the statement said.
Bush will stress the United States' commitment to a broad international agenda that recognized the connection between freedom, democracy, trade and development and security, the statement said.
Moreover, Bush will also sign the Convention for the Suppression of Nuclear Terrorism, the statement added.
