Kuwaiti gov't condemns Aqaba attacks
font size

Kuwaiti government on Sunday condemned the "terrorist" attacks in the Jordanian sea city of Aqaba in its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The government condemned the terrorist attack in the harbor of Aqaba in Jordan, asserting that such acts contradict all religious teachings and all human values, as such acts target innocent civilians, KUNA said.

The Kuwaiti cabinet also expressed sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims.

Three rocket attacks targeting US warships docked in Aqaba and neighboring Israel's Eilat on Friday, killing one soldier and wounding another.
