At least one has been injured or killed when an airplane of the Angolan Air Force (FAN) crashed on Monday during its landing on Luena runway, in eastern Moxico province.

The communique issued Tuesday by FAN general staff chief did not reveal the number of crew members nor passengers on board. It said that the aircraft had been on the service of the Angolan Armed Forces, adding that the accident occurred at 6:50 a.m. (0550 GMT).

A team is investigating the cause of the crash, the statement said.
