China to send special envoy to DPRK: FM spokesman

Tang Jiaxuan, the special envoy of Chinese President Hu Jintao, and state councillor, will pay an official, goodwill visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from July 12 to 14.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao made the announcement on Friday.
