"Monsters" emerge in the Kanas Lake

Seven tourists from Beijing witnessed two huge black objects emerging from beneath water at the Kanas Lake in Xinjiang Autonomous Region at 7:50 p.m. on June 7, 2005. They saw the two objects leaping forward one after another in the lake. Two minutes later they disappeared under the water. The lake monsters appeared once again on June 8. The photo features traces left on the lake surface by the "monsters".
