font size

Iran and Tunisia signed an agreement to develop cooperation on air, sea, and road transportation, the official IRNA news agency reported Sunday.

The Memorandum of Understanding was inked by Iranian Minister of Roads and Transports Mohammad Rahmati and his visiting Tunisian counterpart Abderrahim Zouari, the report said.

Under the agreement, an Iran-Tunisia airline will be established by the end of 2005 to expand trade and commercial cooperation between the two countries, Zouari was quoted as saying.

The two sides also agreed to facilitate visa applying and granting procedures for each other's nationals, Zouari added.
