Asian-African summit concludes

Leaders and officials from Asian and African countries wound up a two-day summit in Jakarta Saturday after agreeing on building a new strategic partnership between the two continents.

Over 100 countries participated in the two-day summit, including about 50 leaders of state and government, as well as representatives from two dozens of world and regional organizations.
