The Ethiopian government has further strengthened its cooperation with China in agriculture, health, information technology, trade and investment sectors, said the counselor of the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing Eyasu Daniel, who was here last week to attend the annual diplomatic meeting of the country.
The cooperation between the two states would enable Ethiopia to learn more from China which is instrumental in bringing about rapid change, Eyasu said.
The embassy on its part is exerting efforts to persuade Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in Ethiopia while striving to find markets for Ethiopia's agricultural products, garments, leather and leather products in China.
The Ethiopian government is adjusting its investment policy to attract more foreign companies to invest in the country, and Chinese companies has played a leading role in the investment area.
