Chinese Wang surpasses world record in 10m running target

Chinese Wang Dengjie scored 393 hits to surpass the world record of 391 in the men's 10-meter 40-hit running target at the National Shooting Championshipshere on May 23.

Wang of Fujian province, displayed his unprecedented precision in the final, the last event of the championships, which featured some 300 shooters from 28 teams across the most populous country.

The fortnight championships is a trial for the 10th National Games, where four team events were contested by the Chinese sharpshooters.
