Chinese leaders including Premier Wen Jiabao watched an African dance performance named "African Festival" in Beijing on May 23 Sunday at the Great Hall of the People.

Over 160 artists from nine African countries including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius and Egypt performed their traditional dance and songs.

Before the performance, Wen met with the heads of the delegations from these countries and visiting Botswana Foreign Minister Mompati Merafhe.
