Timothy Fok re-elected HK Olympic chief
IOC member Timothy Fok Tsun-tingwas re-elected on Tuesday here for his fourth presidency of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&0C).
IOC member Timothy Fok Tsun-tingwas re-elected on Tuesday here for his fourth presidency of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&0C).
The entire board of the SF&0C was re-elected for the term from 2004 to 2006 at the 53rd annual general meeting of the SF&0C on Tuesday.
First elected in 1998, Fok's peak time came during last year when Hong Kong succeeded under his strong leadership in bidding tohost the East Asian Games in 2009. It will be the first regional multi-sports event ever to be held by Hong Kong.
Fok, who will turn 58 in days, was elected IOC member in 2001 for his continuous efforts to prompt sports in Hong Kong as well as in Chinese mainland.
