Beijing hosts CEPA Promotion Week
A series of activities aiming to strengthen economic ties between China's mainland and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions (SAR) started here Wednesday, and will last for ten days.
A series of activities aiming to strengthen economic ties between China's mainland and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions (SAR) started here Wednesday, and will last for ten days.
The activities will move to Shanghai and Guangzhou shortly.
The Promotion Week for the Mainland/Hong Kong and Mainland/Macao Closer Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Hong Kong SAR government and the Macao SAR government.
The CEPA promotion activities aim to show mainlanders Hong and Macao's service trades, tourism resorts and products.
In addition, a seminar will be held to study the CEPA's impact and influence on the development of trade between the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, attracting over 400 experts in finance, real estate, insurance and services from Hong Kong and Macao.
