More foreign leaders have extended congratulations to their Chinese counterparts on the success of China's first manned space flight, hoping China to make more progress in the field of space technology.

More foreign leaders have extended congratulations to their Chinese counterparts on the success of China's first manned space flight, hoping China to make more progress in the field of space technology.

Chinese President Hu Jintao has received congratulatory telegrams from General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Il, President Askar Akayevich Akayev of Kyrgyzstan, Aaparmurad Atayevich Niyazov of Turkmenistan, Jacques Chirac of France, Thomas Klestil of Austria,Vaclav Klaus of the Czech Republic, Rudolf Schuster of Slovakia, Madl Ferenc of Hungary, Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko of Belarus, Vaira Vike-Freiberga of Latvia, Omar Hassan Ahmed El-Bashir of Sudan, Paul Biya of Cameroon, Josef Kabila of Congo, President of Zanzibar Amani Abeid Karume of Tanzania, Executive Secretary of Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific Kim Hak-Su.

Chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress Wu Bangguo has received congratulatory telegrams from President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK Kim Yong Nam, and President of the National Assembly of Hungary Sili Kautaulin.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has received congratulatory telegrams from Premier of the DPRK Pak Bong Ju, Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder of Germany, Hungarian Prime Minister Medgyessy Peter, Prime Minister Apolo Nsibambi of Uganda, and Paul Raymond Berenger of Mauritius.

Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong has received a congratulatory message from Panama's First Vice-president Arturo Ilises Vallarino.
