Singaporean SARS patient discharged from hospital

The 27-year-old Singaporean SARS patient has been discharged from hospital, Singapore's Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The ministry said the patient, who tested positive for the SARS disease about a week ago, is placed on a 14-day home quarantine order.

It said that investigation is still going on to determine the source of the infection.

This is Singapore's first SARS case since it was declared free of the disease on May 31.
