Hungarian PM Welcomes More Chinese Investment

Hungary welcomes Chinese companies to invest in Hungary while Hungary expects to invest in China, Hungarian Prime Minister Medgyessy Peter said Friday in an exclusive interview with Xinhua.

Hungary welcomes Chinese companies to invest in Hungary while Hungary expects to invest in China, Hungarian Prime Minister Medgyessy Peter said Friday in an exclusive interview with Xinhua.

As a reliable friend of China, Hungary has established friendlyrelations with China since the two countries forged diplomatic ties, he said, and the bilateral relations further developed in the late 1980s.

He hopes that the two sides can expand exchanges and cooperation in trade, tourism and cultural affairs.

He is an old friend of China, he said, noting that this was hisfourth visit to China.

He has noticed the rapid increase of automobiles, high buildings and fashionable clothes which made a deep impression, hesaid.

Medgyessy visits China at the invitation of Chinese Premier WenJiabao.
